About Me:

My name is Alexander Eyre.

Physically: I am 17 with long black hair and hazel eyes. Also, I am short, thin, and muscular. That's about all you need to know about that.

Interests: First reason, which is why I am here, is I enjoy the fine arts. Music and art would become my life if I didn't aspire to become an engineer in third grade. My artistic interests lie in gothic, futuristic, abstract, and some nature forms of art. Since I was young I’ve been doing all forms of art. My favorite mediums are pencil/pen and paper, charcoal, chalk, and watercolor pencils. I’ve grown on these mediums all of my life and I wish to begin some graphics art.

Music is also a large passion of mine. My musical interests lie in metal, classical, techno, jazz, and classic rock. I play all saxophones, tuba, electric guitar/bass, keyboards, and I’m learning drums. I have my own progressive metal band where I do guitar or keyboards along with vocals. I also play with a jazz band on my saxophones.

My most dominate interest is in electrical engineering. This is what I hope to devote my life to. Since the beginning of my high school career, I have built countless amounts of robots and robot blueprints. I have gotten first place in the National Robotics Competition and won 2nd Place in the National NASA competition out of 2860 other entrees. My lifelong aspiration lies here as I want to construct a company based around robotics and alternate energy sources. I also have extreme interests in nanotechnology; it is going to become our next revolution.

On the lesser hand, I enjoy swimming. I am on a swim team, which tends to be my only sport. I love playing futuristic video games such as EVE Online. I don’t watch any television, except for Futurama and educational television. I have an extreme passion for computers, but it’s not exciting enough to write about. Most importantly, I love philosophy, but that will be discussed later.

Mentality: This is my most dominate section, which will probably be discussed in separate entrees. Most important thing is:

I have chosen concentration rather than conformity, imagination in place of mainstream social acceptance.

This is a good summation of how I act and think. I am not any part of any social class. In fact, I make my best effort to avoid being any part of one. Social classes are a form of ignorance that has found its way into so many people’s lives. It leads to endless small talk, companies that take advantage of the masses, and tunnel vision. People that attend my school spend hours of their lives discussing issues between people or talking about ideas that are unproductive. It surprises me that someone could obsess about someone else’s life, completely making their own useless. So many are becoming wrapped into celebrities, reality television, and news that can consume hours of their life, which could have been used for another purpose.

This has led me to devote my life to change the world in some way. I hope to achieve it through my aspirations.
